Judith Sadlier

Judith Sadlier was born in San Mateo California and lived in San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Carmel until her retirement.

Judith earned a BA in Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley.

She worked in the Investment Business beginning as a clerk and retiring as an Independent Investment Advisor after 40 plus years. Judith was the first woman selected to participate in Branch Management and later Regional Director at the firm of Dean Witter, which later merged with Morgan Stanley.

In the 70s Judith founded the Women’s Network in Santa Cruz County and in 2005 she founded the Guatemala NGO Network. She also served on the Advisory Board of Starfish One By One for 4 years at their inception.

Judith has lived in Antigua, Guatemala for 10 years with her husband, Gene Budinger.

Judith believes Guatemala will be lifted economically by improved education at all levels and by the availability of capital for the growth of small businesses.
